Media Injection sponsors the Ronald McDonald House Charity, because we wholeheartedly support the mission of this children’s charity: allowing parents to stay close to their (gravely) ill children.
The Ronald McDonald House Charity has been ensuring sick children can be close to their family for over 32 years. Part of this mission are the fifteen Ronald McDonald Houses for parents and siblings of sick children all located nearby hospitals, nine Ronald McDonald Family Rooms in hospitals, four specially adapted holiday homes and a unique sport centre for handicapped children, just in the Netherlands alone. Social media is an important tool for the Charity when it comes to conveying their mission. It’s also necessary for raising awareness and soliciting new donations for their cause. At the moment a few of the Ronald McDonald Houses are active on social media with their own Twitter and/or Facebook accounts.
Our objective is to offer all of the Houses this opportunity over the next couple of years. It will be an honour for Media Injection to offer our platform to the Ronald McDonald House Charity.
Alpe d’HuZes was established with the mission to take the powerlessness and frustration, felt in connection with cancer, and transform it into power. We achieve this by continually pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with as many people as possible. In order to support this mission Media Injection is sponsoring Alpe d’HuZes.
Once a year, in June, Alpe d’HuZes sets up a special event. Under the motto “Never, ever quit!” the participants attempt to conquer the legendary mountain Alpe d’Huez up to 6 times in total. Most commonly on a bicycle, however you can also choose to hike or run up the mountain. You can participate by yourself or in a team, the objective is to raise funds for cancer research.
